Rolling Hills Rescue
A non-profit rescue organization committed to saving animals from slaughter, abuse, abandonment, and neglect. RHR rehabilitates animals in a respectful, loving, compassionate environment by providing the necessary medical, nutritional, and emotional healing these animals so desperately need and deserve as their last chance at life.
About Rolling Hills Rescue
We rescue animals from euthanasia, kill-shelters, kill-pens, slaughter-bound animals at auction, where we are their last chance at life. We rehabilitate animals that may not be as adoptable due to their age, state of neglect, injuries, or lack of training.
We consider ourselves a respite for many animals with worn out bodies, who truly deserve a peaceful retirement. RHR is a place to receive healing, a place where animals can be joined with other animals of their kind, to live out the rest of their lives free... Free to lay down, free to jump, run and play, free to eat healthy food and drink lots of clean water. Free to make their own decisions about wanting to trust us again....and they always do, thanks to you.
A peaceful sanctuary created to rehabilitate and/or retire all animals that have been rescued from an untimely death. Let the healing begin and let it be shared to all.
In our eyes, a successful partnership creates a bond, a sense of trust and friendship for both animal and human. We encourage positive animal/human interaction via education, with a goal to prevent animal cruelty and promote awareness.
It is our goal to help foster that trust in all rescued animals as part of their recovery process.
Rescued animals are rehabilitated to their optimal health, and are chosen to be retired or re-homed based on their temperament, and health conditions. We strive to make a positive impact upon the lives of homeless companion and livestock animals, and ensure they are loved and treated with compassion for the rest of their lives.
